The first three Sundays of each month we host the best of local jazz, the second Sunday being an Open Jazz Session run by John Walter or Tom Unwin. On fourth Sundays we showcase talents in various genres, local or touring, on our Not Quite Jazz (NQJ) nights. See listings below or check out our monthly flyer page.
15th NEIL BURNS ORGAN TRIO WITH SPECIAL GUESTS:
ON TOUR – STEVE WATERMAN AND TERRY QUINNEY
Terry Quinney is a Canadian saxophonist, co-leader of “The Sound of Bluenote “ who have been quite a sensation in jazz clubs across the south of England.
Steve Waterman packed out the Bay Horse on his last visit a few years’ back. As one of the top jazz trumpeters in Europe he has been a British jazz award winner numerous times.
Locals Neil, Martin Jenkins and Ric Byer make up the trio and with this fantastic line up it should be a great night of original compositions plus many “bluenote” groovers.
22nd SHADOW FACTORY
