‘Jazz on Sundays’ generally on the first three Sundays of each month, gigs starting at 8pm, the second Sunday being an Open Jazz Session run by John Walter or Tom Unwin.  On fourth Sundays we showcase talents in various genres on our Not Quite Jazz (NQJ) nights.  Look at the monthly flyer for more details and see basic listings below.

2nd    Men Behaving Tradly
A welcome return for Zoe ‘Dave’ Lambeth, Bob Martin and Steve Dow.  Always fun, with their take on early jazz era tunes.

9th  Open Jazz Jam Session – with John Walter

16th   Dave Holdsworth Quartet
A local jazz musician of many years standing, his quartet will be playing a mix of jazz with some originals.

23rd   NO JAZZ TONIGHT  (We are busy preparing for our Christmas Eve Party)

24th   DAVE HOLLAND – TRADITIONAL CHRISTMAS EVE PARTY
After Traditional Community Carol Singing from the Bay Horse Horns (at 7.45), Dave Holland will be at the piano as usual, with his able assistant and bell-jingler Ann, with all your favourite Christmas songs.  From Bing Crosby to Eartha Kitt, Slade to the Pogues and back again.  Your participation is expected!

30th  NQJ Night – Four People
Definitely not Jazz night – we’ve taken the opportunity of this visiting folk band passing through Totnes.  Mostly Cornish, but with one Totnesian, they are a young original band with traditional roots.
